Just watched this movie for the first time in a very, very long time. All I can say is.. ‘wow’.. and ‘where’s the tissue paper’. From the film’s music to the depiction of the event of Titanic’s demise to the flawless reproduction of humanly beauty, this film is breathtaking. Titanic is nothing less than a monumental accomplishment of mankind’s intellectual production. Quite possibly the most touching movie that I can recall watching. Just listen to that music.. that alone is enough to move you to tears. Leonardo Dicaprio, Kate Winslet and James Cameron are utter geniuses, bless their souls. Oh, and also James Horner and Celine Dion for creating this music.. this profoundly tender music.
